I always love a photographer that can fit two competing concepts or moods into the same shot; this seems to be both very claustrophobic and enclosed in that it looks like a small space (at least that's what's suggested by the cropping), and very "open" in terms of imagination and a strange atmosphere that produces a sort of "tip of the iceberg" feeling. Great shot.
